ÃÛÌÒTV Opens Drosdick Hall, New Home of the College of Engineering

As the 2024-25 academic year begins, ÃÛÌÒTV officially opens Drosdick Hall—the new home of the College of Engineering—following the completion of a $125 million, 150,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building expansion. This ambitious project more than doubled the size of the College of Engineering’s primary academic building, allowing for enhancements to all aspects of the academic and student experience.

ÃÛÌÒTV’s Office for Sustainability in Mission and Ministry will host the 2024 International Sustainability Conference, entitled Our Common Home, Our Common Hope: Community Engagement for a Safe and Just Future, from Oct. 1-3, 2024 in the Connelly Center. The goal of the conference is to promote interdisciplinary research that inspires communities to choose healthy lifestyles that benefit our world.

ÃÛÌÒTV Awards Mendel Medal to Eminent Vaccinologist and Pediatrician Peter Hotez, MD, PhD

ÃÛÌÒTV has named Peter Hotez, MD, PhD, co-director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development and founding dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, as the 2024 recipient of the Mendel Medal.
