HONORS PROGRAM: FITZPATRICK COLLEGE OF NURSING
Each year, 10% of incoming Fitzpatrick College of Nursing students are selected to the University鈥檚 Honors Program.
Ten Honors courses are required to earn a Nursing Honors degree. Both the Junior Experience and Senior Capstone courses are required. For the Class of 2027 & beyond, at least 15 credits must be taken within the College of Nursing.

In addition to completing all course requirements, students must achieve a minimum 3.33 cumulative GPA to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Honors.

Intellectual Engagement
Honors Nursing students take the Honors section of NUR 3108-H Pathophysiology or NUR 3122-H Imperatives of Global and Public Health during their junior year. During senior year, Honors students take NUR 4117-H, Leadership Practicum. Additionally, students have the option to complete an Honors Thesis, engaging in undergraduate research, during their senior year.
