Andrew Brandt, Professor of Practice and the Executive Director of the Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law, provided expert commentary to numerous national media outlets regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision in Murphy v. NCAA regarding sports betting. In Murphy, the Supreme Court struck down a 1992 federal law that effectively prevented most states from legalizing sports betting.

In addition to the topic of sports betting, Brandt recently weighed in on the sale of the Carolina Panthers football team amidst the National Football League’s investigation into misconduct by Panthers owner Jerry Richardson.
